Overview of Error messages

• Success - Green box, used for confirmations

• Warning - Yellow box, used for validation errors and notifiying of potential issues.

• Error - Red box - used to alert of an error

You may also see an error like below:

These usually fall under the 'Error' category above, and are intended to allow errors to be shown without the page reloading.

You may also see cloudflare error pages which look like the below:

These indicate server errors, however if you see the above error (Bad Gateway), try waiting for a minute and reloading the page, if you continue to see this after a few minutes, contact the system admin. The other potential error here is 'Gateway time-out' - If you see this, please report it to the system admin.

Diagnosing Problems

Server Errors

If the error message says something like 'There was an error processing your request', please contact the system admin with details on what you were trying to do.

Other errors

All other errors, should have sufficient information to resolve the issue, for example validation errors will detail the validation that failed so you can amend and try again. If a message is not clear, please forward to the system admin so your problem can be resolved.
