Previewing

The quote preview page is an internal page for previewing quote, it allows viewing quote content when the status is open or closed.

This page should not be printed for exporting as a PDF for customers, see exporting

Change Status

The three statuses for quotes are

• Draft - Quote in progress, still editing

• Open - Quote ready to send to client can be exported as PDF.

• Closed - Quote is finished with and can be archived.

1. Select Change Status from the Actions dropdown.

2. Select the required status from the dropdown and click Save.

Time Tracking

All the time you are active on a quote, time is logged.

These logs can be viewed by selecting View Time Trackings from the Actions dropdown

Download PDF

Only available for quotes in 'Open' status.

Download Draft PDF

Draft PDF's can be generated regardless of the quotes status - this PDF is identical to the final PDF but has a large 'DRAFT' watermark through it. This is intended for internal preview before the quote is finalised.

Notes

• If changing quote status to open, the content of the quote will be validated to ensure that all required data is populated.
